Aparshakti Khurana is counting his blessings. The actor, although complains that his body clock has changed and his routine has gone a tad haywire, he’s happy that he’s spending a lot of quality time with his parents and his family in Chandigarh. “Thank god! We had the liberty to travel back home. Our parents are here and even our parents-in-law (Ayushmann Khurrana and his own parents-in-law) are here. It made sense to travel back home. Maa-papa wanted to see all of us and we could not resist seeing them either,” says Aparshakti, adding, “My schedule here has gone a little off tangent but I don’t mind it at all. This is the longest bhaiyya and I have stayed in Chandigarh together in the last 15 years after moving to Mumbai. It’s amazing to be home with everyone. The city is greener and cleaner. We don’t step out much but jitna dekhte hain, it feels nice.”

Talking about getting back to Mumbai and resuming work, Aparshakti says that he’s only a call away for his producers. He adds, “Once both bhaiyya and I have clarity on which film is rolling out first and when, we will be back in Mumbai and geared up to start work. Frankly, we’re all waiting to get back on the sets. As for following the SOPs, I trust the producers I am working with. The teams working there are efficient and responsible. They’re very particular about following rules and we will follow everything we are asked to do. The moment work beckons, we will be back in the city. Woh bhi apna hi ghar hai.”
