Exclusive! Vardhan Puri spills the beans on his BFFs and their bond; says ‘We accept each other for who we are’ | Hindi Movie News

Friendship Day is one of the most loved days and it is celebrated across the country with zeal and enthusiasm. On this day, friends celebrate each other and their precious bond. ETimes got in touch with Amrish Puri’s grandson Vardhan Puri, who made his debut in Bollywood with ‘Yeh Saali Aashiqui’. The actor spoke about his BFFs Paarth Chheda and Rushabh Shah, their bond, a special message for them and more. Excerpts:

Why are they your best friends?

They are my best friends because they are amazing human beings, they share the same values as I do. I think it’s their quality of pure love, compassion and empathy which really vibes with me. They are not friends, they are brothers.

The sweetest thing they have ever done for you

There was this time in 2016 when I was really unwell, I had been hospitalized. I had come back home and was asked to relax and not go out. There was a huge party and I was getting a lot of FOMO (fear of missing out) and I was wondering what I will do alone at home when everyone is enjoying. But Rushabh and Paarth along with their partners came home, all dressed up with the best food ever and board games, and we had the time of our life. I think that was really sweet. They let go of that party to just be with me, their best friend… I am touched (smiles).

What is the secret behind your bond?

The reason for our bond is that we have never ever tried changing each other. We accept each other for who we are and we are so proud of each other. I think when you don’t allow anyone to feel like you need to change, that’s your greatest quality and that’s what makes you a great best friend. Just accept the way someone is and they will love you forever.

Describe them in one word

Rushabh is dynamic and Paarth is balanced.

How would you describe your and your BFF’s bond? Is it like Jai-Veeru or Rahul-Anjali?

Our bond is like Karan and Arjun’s. Kuch pichle janam ka saath hai. It’s something karmic, something spiritual… I can’t explain. It’s just magical (smiles).

On this Friendship Day, what is that one thing you would want to tell your best friends?

Paarth and Rushabh, I just want to you that you are family to me, you are the most special people in my life. I know we don’t get to meet and talk as often as we’d like. This is just to tell you that you are beautiful people. I am so blessed to have you and your families. I am always here for you. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I promise to make you proud forever and ever!
