‘Hungama 2’ director Priyadarshan to wrap up shooting of the film by September due to THIS reason | Hindi Movie News


After the super success of ‘Hungama’, filmmaker Priyadarshan has announced the much-awaited sequel of the comedy-drama. While most of the shooting of the movie has been completed, a song is left to be shot and it has been put on hold due to the lockdown situation in the country. Now, the director wants to complete it by September for THIS reason.

In an interview with a news portal, Priyadarshan reportedly revealed that the child artists are aged between 8 to 11 and in the past four months of lockdown, they have grown. He also added that those kids also play an important part in the script so it is necessary for maintaining the continuity.

Elaborating more, he added that only a song has to be shot with them in Kullu Manali and the director wants to finish it off by September this year.

Hungama 2’ stars Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaaferi, Pranitha Subhash in the lead roles. The first look posters of the film had created quite a buzz amongst the fans and it one of the most awaited films of the year.

The shoot of the film was halted this year due to the widespread coronavirus pandemic and lockdown in the month of March. While many filmmakers have opted for an OTT release for their film, Shilpa Shetty had revealed in an interview that they want to release the film on the big screen.
