Kriti Sanon pens emotional note to Sushant Singh Rajput: In Manny, I saw YOU come alive | Hindi Movie News
Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress, who forged a great friendship with the star after working together in ‘Raabta’, said that watching the film broke her heart “again”. Admitting that his passing will ‘never sink in’ she also said that in his on-screen character he “came alive” as she knew the parts where he put bits of himself into his character Manny.
Referring to the film’s “Seri” dialogue which translates to “Okay”, Kriti penned a note that read, “Its not Seri! And it will never sink in…This broke my heart…again…”
She went on to add, “In Manny, I saw YOU come alive in so so many moments… I knew exactly where you had put in a bit of yourself in the character… And as always, your most magical bits were your silences… those bits where you said nothing and yet u said so much!”
The actress also sent a message of love to the film’s director Mukesh Chhabra, saying, “I know this film will always mean a lot more to you than what we had thought.. you made us feel too many emotions in your first!”
She also extended her best to actress Sanjana Sanghi and wished her “a beautiful journey ahead.”
Kriti was among the very few Bollywood stars who attended Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral. The late actor’s father, KK Singh even revealed that the actress was the only one to meet him at the funeral to share kind words about his son.
Since Sushant’s passing, the actress has been taking to her handle to pen her words of love and admiration and even to protest about “blind items” while pleading with all to put “humanity before profession.”
