Directed by ‘Jil’ fame Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam features an ensemble cast with the likes of Bhagyashree, Priyadarshi, Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sathya in pivotal roles. While acclaimed cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa is handling the camera, RC Kamalakannan is acting as the head for the VFX part. The name of the music director is yet to be revealed.
Jointly bankrolled by UV Creations and T Series, the big-budget project is set against the backdrop of Paris in the 1920s and the protagonist will reportedly be seen as a fortune-teller. The multilingual film is expected to release in 2021.
Despite the outbreak of coronavirus, the team of Radhe Shyam flew down to Georgia in the first week of March and shot some crucial scenes in extreme weather conditions. However, after filming for a few days in Tbilisi, the makers decided to halt the shoot for the safety of the cast and crew, and returned to India. Once the lockdown restrictions get lifted, the shooting is expected to resume and proceed on a pacey mode.
