After kicking-off their wedding festivities with a traditional Roka ceremony in the third week of May, Rana Daggubati and his fiancé Miheeka Bajaj have inched a step closer towards marriage with another ritual called Lagna Patrikalu, where the groom’s family visits the bride’s home and distributes wedding cards. The intimate gathering attended by close family members from both sides took place on Saturday and Miheeka shared her pictures on Instagram with the caption “The celebrations continue! Thank you for making my day so much more special!”

While the photos of Rana are yet to be revealed, Miheeka looked drop-dead gorgeous in a mint green lehenga set with minimal accessories and makeup. Commenting on her post on the photo-sharing site, soon-to-be sister-in-law Samantha Akkineni called the bride ‘Beauty’ followed by a love symbol. Venkatesh’s elder daughter Aashritha Daggubati also praised her bestie by posting “You look gorgeous my miks 😍”

While the big fat wedding will take place on August 8, both the prominent families in the Telugu states are busy finalising the venue and taking care of the logistics. Meanwhile, speculations are rife that the wedding might take place at the Falaknuma Palace Hotel in Hyderabad.

On the work front, Rana is gearing up for the release of his upcoming trilingual ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ titled as Aranya in Telugu. To look his part as a 50-year-old jungle man, the 35-year-old handsome hunk followed a strict diet regime from the past two years and underwent extensive training to shed down nearly 30 kilos from his body.
