Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were admitted to a city hospital on Saturday evening after they tested positive for Covid-19. Special prayers are being offered for the good health and speedy recovery of the Bachchan, at a temple in Ujjain. Photos shared by ANI showcased a group of priets in Ujjain offering prayers while one of them is also seen with a picture of Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan.

Health Minister Rajesh Tope had confirmed on Twitter that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya have also tested positive for Coronavirus while Jayaya Bachchan has tested negative. Earlier today, the BMC santisation workers were seen at Jalsa bungalow, where the Bachchan reside.

On Saturday evening, Amitabh Bachchan had confirmed on Twitter, “I have tested COVID-19 positive… shifted to hospital… hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests, results awaited…All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!” While later Abhishek had shared, “Earlier today, both my father and I tested positive for COVID-19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”
