Sushant Singh Rajput’s fan approaches Aaditya Thackeray and BMC commissioner to rename his Bandra apartment lane after the late actor | Hindi Movie News

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. According to the reports, the actor was suffering from clinical depression. His untimely demise has shocked everyone. Today, it’s been a month since Sushant left for his heavenly abode.

Recently, a road was renamed after Sushant to honour his memory in his hometown Purnea in Bihar. Now according to the latest reports, a fan of Sushant has approached the authorities to rename the street where he stayed in Bandra.

Reports suggest that a Mumbai based family friend of Sushant, Nilotpal Mrinal has approached Aaditya Thackeray and the BMC commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal to rename the street after the late actor to make him a part of the city forever. It is being said that they have directed Mrinal to the officials of the H (West) municipal ward under whose jurisdiction the area falls.

The fan has also suggested if not a road, a chowk or a garden near Sushant’s apartment be named after him. Since the officials are battling the pandemic currently, they have assured Mrinal that they will look into the matter at the earliest.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s death case is being investigated by the Mumbai Police currently. Rhea Chakraborty, Mukesh Chhabra, Sanjana Sanghi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rohini Iyer, Siddharth Pithani and others have already recorded their official statements.
